Bike Route

Go to the routes – 53 km with 840 of D+ (elevation gain)

Manosque – Forcalquier – Les Mourres – Fontienne

Departing from the hotel, this route takes you through the hills of Haute-Provence towards Forcalquier, a charming Provencal town with a rich heritage. The route continues to the natural site of Les Mourres, famous for its astonishing rock formations, before reaching the peaceful village of Fontienne. The return journey offers superb panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and a total immersion in the region’s typical landscapes. A varied itinerary of nature, hilltop villages and riding pleasure.

Manosque – Dauphin – Cerestres – Bastide des Jourdan

Departing from Manosque, this cycling route offers a beautiful, sporty loop through Céreste, Vitrolles and the Bastides des Jourdans. An undulating route combining regular climbs, Provencal passes and technical descents, ideal for building endurance and altitude. The scenery alternates between open plateaus, hilltop villages and quiet Luberon roads. A demanding but flowing circuit, perfect for a complete training outing or a sporting discovery of the region.

Go to 20km – 1h30 with 482M of D+ (Bellevue 2.5 km at 7.5% )

Manosque – Canal de Provence – Bellevue – Val des chats – France

This 20 km route from Manosque first follows the Canal de Provence on a pleasant, rolling section. The main difficulty comes with the Bellevue climb, 2.5 km at 7.5%, ideal for working on rhythm and power. After the summit, the route continues towards Val des Chats, on calmer, more undulating roads. A short but demanding outing.

Go to the routes 40km – 2h30 with 921 M of D+.

Manosque – Col de la mort d’Imbert – Villemus – Saint Martin les Eaux

Starting from Manosque, this 40 km route begins with a steady climb to the Col de la Mort d’Imbert, offering fine views over the Manosque countryside. The route continues on an undulating profile to Villemus, between fields and forests typical of Haute-Provence. The last part of the route passes through Saint-Martin-les-Eaux, with more rolling sections ideal for relaunching. A balanced itinerary combining effort, scenery and pleasure

How to get there From the hotel – 10 km (One hour – Pace 5’45 per kilometer – 78 m D+) Fairly flat except on the way back.

A running trail in the heart of a soothing natural environment, ideal for combining sport and discovery. The route winds its way through lush green landscapes and pleasant paths, offering beautiful views throughout. The gentle, varied terrain invites you to look up and take in the scenery. The perfect way to discover the area at your own pace, between moderate effort and pleasure for the senses. An inspiring trail, ideal for relaxing and getting away from it all.

How to get there From Bellevue, access by car 5.6 km – 10mm – Bucolic trail (1.5 km loop – 8 m D+) all flat

This walking trail offers a varied itinerary, alternating between rolling sections. It passes through pleasant areas, with a good balance between effort and pleasure, ideal for endurance training. The route also offers plenty of breathing space, while remaining dynamic from start to finish.

How to get there From Lac des Vannades, access by car 7.5 km – 15 mm – Flat course (1.6 km loop), all flat.

This walking trail offers a pleasant, well-balanced layout, ideal for regular outings. It alternates between flowing, accessible sections, enabling you to maintain a steady pace. The overall profile remains comfortable, suitable for all levels. The route lends itself to both endurance and leisure activities, in a setting conducive to relaxation and controlled effort.

🌿 Panoramic hike departing from the hotel – View over Manosque – Type of route: Loop – Duration: Approx. 1h to 1h15 – Distance: ~3.5 to 4 km – Elevation gain: Moderate – Level: Easy to intermediate

Departing from the Hôtel Le Pré Saint-Michel, this hike offers an immediate immersion in nature, while revealing one of the finest panoramas of the town of Manosque and its surroundings.

The route begins quietly in the residential districts, before gradually ascending to the wooded hills overlooking the town. Very soon, the landscape opens up to reveal unobstructed views of Manosque, its rooftops, the Durance valley and, on a clear day, the surrounding relief of Provence.

The trail alternates between shady forest paths and more open stretches, offering a pleasant balance between coolness and views. The regular but accessible climbs are rewarded by several natural belvederes ideal for a photo break or simply to enjoy the calm and Provencal light.

The loop continues on a balcony above the town, before beginning a gentle descent back to the hotel. The varied route, with no technical difficulties, makes it an ideal way to discover Manosque in a different way, on foot and at the pace of nature.

Perfect for a morning stroll, a relaxing end-of-day outing or a first discovery of the landscapes surrounding Manosque.

Manosque – Villemus Access by car 10 km – 17 mm

Departing from the charming village of Villemus, just 17 minutes from Manosque, this hike takes you into the heart of the typical Haute-Provence landscapes.

The route alternates between forest paths, open stretches and open views of the surrounding hills, with an undulating terrain that provides just the right amount of elevation gain to make the outing dynamic and enjoyable.

With its 6 km and 248 m of positive gradient, this hike is accessible yet sporty, ideal for an end-of-day outing or an active discovery of the area.

The quiet paths, diverse scenery and close proximity to Manosque make this a perfect itinerary to recharge your batteries, alone or accompanied.
